On-Site Internal Audit

A facilitated session for Operating Authority staff to work through conducting an internal audit, from audit planning to completion.  On-the-job practical training hours are provided to participants.

About the course

Using your organization’s site-specific documents, records, processes and

programs, Acclaims Environmental Inc. leads your team through the internal audit process from audit planning to completion.

Following the facilitated session, you will receive an official and complete internal audit report.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to describe:

• requirements for conducting internal audits,
• their utility's tools for planning and preparing for audits,
• auditing principles and key auditor attributes,
• how to carry-out an internal audit and verify the effectiveness of the management system, and
• how to record and report audit findings (using the utility's tools).
